Sanskrit Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at S.D.P. Senior Secondary School, Hazuri Road, Ludhiana. On this occasion, students were made aware of the importance and antiquity of the Sanskrit language and its significant contribution to Indian culture. During the programme, students presented Sanskrit shlokas, speeches, poems and various other activities related to the Sanskrit language. The students displayed their knowledge and keen interest in Sanskrit through their impressive presentations. The teachers explained that Sanskrit is one of the ancient and rich languages of India and has made a significant contribution to the development of several Indian languages. The Principal, Shri Jasveer Singh Chauhan Ji, motivated the students to study and appreciate the Sanskrit language. He said that Sanskrit is not merely a language but also an important foundation of Indian knowledge, culture and traditions. He encouraged the students to remain connected with their rich cultural heritage. Shri Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President of the S.D.P. Sabha, said that the objective of the programme was to develop love, interest and respect for the Sanskrit language among students and to acquaint them with the rich heritage and glorious traditions of Indian culture. The programme concluded with enthusiastic participation by the students and teachers.
