A mega show of athletic events was organized with a wonderful extravaganza by S.D.P. Sr. Sec. School, Hazuri Road, S.D.P. Sr. Sec.School, Branch Basti Jodhewal and Sh. O.P. Gupta Model Sen. Sec. School,Quilla Mohalla , Ludhiana. Hon’ble S. Amandeep Singh Brar, A.C.P. Central Ludhiana was the chief guest for the Opening Ceremony. Sh. Ashish Kumar, Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Ludhiana was the chief guest for the Closing Ceremony. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin (President S.D.P. Sabha & Institutions) presided over the function. The day was full of exuberance and enthusiasm for more than 4000 students. A remarkable P.T., Karate, Yoga & Bhangra show kept the spectators spell bound. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sh. Rakesh Bansal (S.O.), Sh. Dhari Shah Singla, Dr. Sh. Sanjeev Gupta, Smt. Neena Aneja, Dr. Sanjeev Bindra, Smt. Sarita Goel. Hon’ble S. Amandeep Singh Brar, A.C.P. Central Ludhiana appreciated the efforts done by the schools and students to make the youngsters healthy and strong. He also highlighted about the free Legal Services provided by the Government. Sh. Ashish Kumar, Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) Ludhiana motivated the students to take part in games & sports for their balanced personality development. Sh.Balraj Kumar Bhasin (President) has this vision and ambition that the students of his school should not lack in the infrastructural facilities in the games & sports. In his address he expressed his keenness to see the students healthy & high spirited.
