S.D.P Sr. Sec . School brought 300 Saplings from the Forest department under the scheme “EK PED MAA KE NAAM” run by the Govt. of India . All the saplings were distributed among the NSS Students.The students took the saplings at home and planted them in their homes with their mothers and their photos were also uploaded. The Eco Club members of the school, Mrs. Neena Sharma, Mrs. Neetu Soni, Mr. Vikas Dhawan, Mr. Ajay Kumar and Mr. Rajat Sethi told the students that the aim should not only be to plant saplings but also to take care of them. Shri. Balraj Kumar Bhasin and the school Principal Mr. Jasvir Singh Chauhan gave the message of being aware about environment to the students and also told the students about the importance of trees in our lives.
