A Mega show of Athletic Events was organized with a wonderful extravaganza by S.D.P. Sr. Sec. School, Hazuri Road, S.D.P. Sr. Sec.School, Branch Basti Jodhewal and Sh. O.P. Gupta Model Sen. Sec. School,Quilla Mohalla , Ludhiana.  Sh. Sanjeev Gupta, General Secretary was the Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony.  Sh. Lakhvir Singh District, Education Officer (Sec.) was the Chief Guest for the closing Ceremony.  Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, (President SDP Sabha &Institutions) presided over the closing Ceremony. The day was full of exuberance and enthusiasm for more than 2500 students. The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Sh. Dhari shah Singla, Sh. Lekh raj Arora, Sh. Sahil Gupta, Dr. Ravi Kant, Sh. Harminder Singh, Sh. Durlab Singh and Sh. Jawwen Singh from D.E.O office. Sh. Jasveer Singh Chauhan, Dr. Sanjeev Bindra and Smt. Indu Khurana Principals Welcomed the Chief Guests and other dignitaries. A Remarkable Aerobics, P.T. Show and Bhangra Performance kept the spectators spell bound. The day started with exquisite March Past and Torch Ceremony. Principal Sh. Jasveer Singh Chauhan read the report of Sports Achievements during the current year. Sh. Lakhvir Singh District Education Officer (Sec.) appreciated the efforts of the schools for creating wonderful atmosphere for Games and Sports. The Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the winners and motivated students to participate in sports to inculcate values like discipline, teamwork and leadership. Sh. H.K Chugh Vice President thanked all the guests and applauded the efforts of the staff and the students for organizing the event. Sh.Balraj Kumar Bhasin (President) has this vision and ambition that the students of his schools should not lack in the infrastructural facilities in the games & sports. In his address he expressed his keenness to see the students healthy & high spirited.
