The festival of Janamashtmi was celebrated on line with full enthusiasm and zeal by the students of S.D.P Sr. Sec. School, Hazuri Road, Ludhiana. Students presented Bhajans and Choreography to depict the importance of this religious celebration. Dahi handi, the most ancient joyful game played and celebrated in Schoolfor the birth of Krishna. Students form Teams made a human pyramid and attempt to reach and break the pot and other students cheer them on. Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President S.D.P. Sabha (Regd.) & Institutions congratulated the staff and students. Principal Sh. Jasveer Singh Chauhan highly eulogised the students and teachers for their efforts. In his address, he laid stress on the need of following Lord Krishna’s teachings “The Importance of karma” to lead prosperous and blessed life.
