Girl Child Day was celebrated in the premises of the local S.D.P. School, Hajoori Road. On this occasion, students were informed about the history of girls’ lives and were told how discrimination was practiced against them in the past. Students also prepared speeches and charts. Sabha Pradhan Mr. Balraj Kumar Bhasin and School Principal Mr. Jasvir Singh Chauhan extended their best wishes on Girl Child Day and urged everyone to maintain a sense of respect towards girls.
