At the local S.D.P. Senior Secondary School, Hazuri Road, the festival of Basant Panchami was celebrated by beginning with the worship and aarti of Goddess Saraswati. Students welcomed the spring season by presenting poems and songs. They also prepared charts and slogans. Activities related to kites were conducted as well. In addition, students were informed about the martyrdom day of Veer Haqiqat Rai. The assembly in-charge, Mr. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, and the school principal, Mr. Jasveer Singh, explained to the students the importance of the spring season and highlighted the greatness of Goddess Saraswati, who is the goddess of knowledge. They extended their best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Basant Panchami.
